Volunteer With Us

‘It’s a pleasure to volunteer and help people on their journey’

Our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. They are on the frontline, supporting people in our centres, delivering food across the city, giving debt advice, sorting donations in our warehouse and more. They enable us to have the impact we do, and we couldn’t do it without them.

We’ve got plenty of volunteering opportunities, and are always grateful to everyone who gives their time to support us. If you’re interested in finding out more, email us at volunteer@standrewslive.org.uk, fill out the form below or scroll down for some of our current opportunities.

Volunteering Opportunities

Warehouse Volunteer

Do you want to help with supporting our food hubs? Volunteering in our warehouse could be the role for you!

Our Warehouse Volunteers are responsible for packing orders, sorting donations and ensuring the smooth running of the behind-the-scenes logistics for our 10 foodbanks and 8 community food spaces.

Check out the pack below which has all the information you need if you’re interested in this role!

Volunteer Van Driver

Our van drivers are vital to getting food to our food hubs so they’re able to support their communities. If you’ve got a clean UK drivers license and are comfortable driving transit vans, we’d love to hear from you!

Van Drivers and Driver’s Mates operate Monday-Friday, transporting stock around the city and working closely with our food team and volunteers in our food hubs to ensure smooth delivery of orders.

Our ‘Van Driver’ volunteer pack has all the details you need to get started.
